Views of the territory of the province of Cuneo, Piemonte region, Italy. A series of photos suspended between nature and society, bound by a relationship of presence-absence, where human intervention is always, and inevitably, a transformation of the landscape around us.

The crossing of a kind of desert of loneliness, which, however, is also the normal life of every day. Intense observation of the outside world makes us less apathetic (crazier or wiser, more happy or more desperate). It perhaps brings us closer to our own death; that is, it brings us to be less separated from ourselves.

Every observation needs to free itself from the familiar codes it carries with it, it needs to drift in the midst of everything it does not understand, in order to get to where it will feel lost. Like a natural tendency that absorbs us, any intense observation of the outside world perhaps brings us closer to our death; that is, it leads us to be less separated from ourselves.
